If you have never tried personal training before and just thought it was for athletes then think again.  All kinds of people, at all different levels of fitness, use personal training because it keeps them motivated, focused and gets results.

At Flexion Health & Fitness we are committed to helping you transform the way you move, eat and feel about yourself.  We want to empower you to develop sustainable healthy habits, build your confidence and reach your goals, whatever they may be.  Our individually tailored personal one to one training sessions, at our private gym in Norton, Stockton-On-Tees  (just off the High Street), allow you to develop your fitness under expert guidance from a qualified female trainer.

At the initial free consultation we will identify your goals, (whether they be fat loss, muscle gain, functional fitness or strength and conditioning) and assess your current health and fitness levels.  It’s a great chance for us to get to know each other and for you to decide if I am the right person to help you on your fitness journey.  Personal training is a team sport, your success is my success!

We will then develop a training plan which will allow you to get the most out of your workouts and the results you want.  We will change up the programme on a regular basis to keep it fun, focused and exciting, using fitness and physical assessments to monitor progress.

If weight loss is your main goal then addressing what you eat is vital, so we will equip you with a personalised macro based eating guide (this is not a meal plan!).  If you want to take things a little further then we also offer face to face 1-1 or online nutrition coaching to help keep you on track (see nutrition coaching section for prices).

Should you need a bit of added motivation then you can sign up for our buddy up sessions and work out with a friend or partner.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged at the full session price, however, if bookings are rescheduled 24 hours in advance no cost will be incurred. No refunds are available on block bookings, but the sessions can be put on hold for up to 6 months or transferred to someone else.

SMALL GROUP TRAINING – CURRENTLY ONLINE ONLY

If you prefer to improve your fitness in a group environment, but have been too self-conscious to join a gym, then why not come along to our small friendly group sessions?

We run full body strength and conditioning training sessions for a maximum of 4 people at our private gym in Norton, Stockton-On-Tees, offering a more personalised approach than large classes.

Should you wish to set up a daytime class with a group of friends then do contact us to discuss options.

If you don’t live close to our studio, or prefer to workout from home, then we also offer live online body weight classes on a Monday (7-8pm) or Wednesday (7.30-8.30pm) evening or Tuesday morning (10.30-11.30am).

NUTRITION COACHING

So, what exactly is nutrition coaching and how can it help me I hear you ask? Good question. Well nutrition coaching mixes the science of nutrition with the psychology of behaviour change to help you transform your mindset, body and health. It helps you recognise your sticking points and work on solutions to overcome them. Nutrition coaching is about helping you feel happy and confident in your own skin.

We use a structured approach to empower you to see your own potential for change, allowing you to reach your goals and get life-changing results. Nutrition coaching is not just about what you put in your mouth, we will also delve into other aspects of your lifestyle to examine why you may eat in a particular way, struggle with energy or find it difficult to lose weight. Sometimes behaviour changes in other aspects of your life can have a big impact on how you feel and function. Consistency is key and change is incremental and can often be slow, new behaviours take practice, but once you get the hang of them they can last a lifetime. And because support and accountability are a vital part of helping you stay on-track we will be there by your side every step of the way.

You don’t change ingrained behaviours overnight, as you will know if you have spent years trying lots of different diets and meal plans, because when it comes to nutrition there is no such thing as a quick fix!

1-1 nutrition coaching

This option will be delivered via a mixture of regular face to face meetings (either in person or via video conferencing) and check-ins throughout the week or bi-weekly. We will be available to answer questions and offer support when needed. You will also receive a free personalised macro-based eating plan (this is not a meal plan) which will be updated on a regular basis to help you reach your goals.

We offer a range of options for those with a gym phobia to individuals who work out on a regular basis, whether you are looking to lose weight, increase your strength, flexibility or stamina, train for a sporting challenge event or just feel fitter and healthier.

We all know that we should exercise and eat well to stay healthy, but we also have a multitude of excuses not to. But, when you look at the health risks of inactivity and a poor diet, the argument to get up, get active and take better care of yourself becomes more compelling.
