My 16 year old son has just joined the gym but was looking for some guidance on exercise. Isaac attended Karen’s learn to lift workshop where Karen wrote him a plan and explained which areas to work on together. Karen was very knowledgeable and informative making sure Isaac demonstrated good form and understanding. She also gave advice on logging reps and weights. Karen also provided some nutrition advice. Excellent service from Karen, I would recommend the learn to lift workshop to any new or existing gym goers who need some expert advice.

Karen led an amazing suspension fitness session in her gym, which was tailored for my level of fitness and knowledge, and I couldn’t have been happier with the results, it was perfect for what I wanted and will allow me to train better and concentrate on the areas that I wanted. I’ve used TRX a bit with Karen in our group workouts but during lockdown we installed a set at home. I knew there must be so much more than push ups and rowing that could be done with this kit so asked Karen if we could do some 1-2-1 sessions to get the most out of the straps (and me!) The sessions were great, tailored to personal needs and completely scaleable to a variety of abilities. Zoom sessions were so convenient and you quickly forget you are working out on your own, it’s just like Karen is with you. As usual Karen was very professional, approachable and knowledgeable. OK so as a “bigger”, or should I say “curvier” person I was really apprehensive about doing anything fitness related let alone doing a boot camp style class. I cannot believe that only after 4 weeks of working with Karen I have changed my mindset regarding nutrition, my sleep patterns and how stress affects my body and losing weight.
I had reached a plateau in losing weight and was really frustrated that I wasn’t losing more. I put it down to being middle-aged and going through the menopause but to date I have lost 3 cms from my waist, hips, thighs and just over 4 IIbs in weight.
